Cohousing in Rochester: Creating a New Urban Community

Join Flower City Cohousing for an inspiring kick-off event on Sunday afternoon April 19, from 2-4pm. Liz Walker, co-founder of EcoVillage Ithaca, will give a talk about her experiences with cohousing, followed by a panel presentation by members of the Flower City Cohousing Community. The event, co-sponsored by the Community Design Center of Rochester, will be held at Asbury First United Methodist Church on 1050 East Avenue.
The vision of Flower City Cohousing is to establish a multi-generational urban village in the city of Rochester, with varied housing options for 20 households, and committed to cooperation, sustainability and diversity. For more information, see flyer below.
